Hmm...

The usual it's been a while. I've been thrown for a loop - SO was here last week and we travelled to Portland and Vancouver. I went somewhat OP, although not horribly - we walked a lot and shared most meals. He lost 5-6 lbs, ironically - but that's good for him.

My big problem right now is that I can't stay awake. I know I need to get back into exercise at night - but mostly because of losing my sleep schedule since he was here for 10 days. So - I'm so exhausted when I go home I sleep in the evening, and then have more trouble getting to sleep at night. So -I need to stop that. I'm tired generally but I don't want to be. I swear there's something wrong with my thyroid. Even when I'm getting good sleep - I'm still exhausted all the time. I think the weather here doesn't help. I dont' get depressed, but it does make me sleepy when it rains all the time - and I feel like I don't have any energy at all.

I was supposed to work out this morning, but my gd car wouldn't start. And I just spent $600 on the damn thing - I am not a happy camper!

Add'l note - I did eat 30% more pts on Monday than my daily level. I was so deeply ravenous, and I wanted to celebrate with gem good news on a job lead. I don't need to do every day - and it was a bit shocking, but I'm glad I did because I think it "blows off steam" and I'll also get to see the overall affects this week while trying to get more exercise. If I don't lose or even gain, I'll know a lot. I ate OP yesterday, and so far so good today - so it may not make much overall difference.
It's been about a week. When I weighted on Saturday, I was at 249 - which I've been reporting in WW to get my pt numbers down, but now am actually at. (Yeay!) So - in truth I lost 2-3 lbs (I was seeing 252-3, but also weight with my clothes on). So, I wound up doing 8 30-min sessions last week. I didn't manage to get to the gym or walk home on last Friday. I've been trying to get in extra exercise this week, but so far I'm not as far ahead even as last week. And the weather just sucks - when it's pooring I don't like to walk home. A little rain is okay, but being soaked to the bone by the time I get home makes me not go. I did get in 30 pushing minutes last night. But I really pay for it - when I work out in the evening, I'm so tired I almost can't get up the next day. I think this just isn't normal. I didn't get to bed until 12:30, and probably would have felt better with more sleep, but even so, I wound up with 8+1/2 hours, and it almost isn't enough. Damnit! I just want to be normal and have the basic energy that everyone else has. I believe it might be something with the thyroid - I've tested more than once with in-normal ranges, but I think there's something to being resistant to thyroid hormone. Or something like it. Fucking medical science - "we can't prove it, so it doesn't exist". It's total crap - doctors CANNOT EVER call themselves scientists - just the basic biochem classes I've had make me realize how much they CAN'T know in medical "science" - they just plain don't know what they're doing!
